Kayak Tour

On the south side of the isthmus, this river shimmers as it snakes through the island’s lava valley. The best way to explore the river Istian,(which actually is a swamp) is by kayak.  You’re pretty much guaranteed to see turtles, caimans and howler monkeys. Our tour takes approximately 5 hours starting in Moyogalpa and heads to El Peru to kayak on the river. We also have departures from Moyogalpa or any other part of the island.

NOTE: This tour is seasonal and weather dependent.
